Michael Pandolfe Obituary, Death – Robert Thomas Pandolfe, who was originally of Wethersfield, went away in a calm and serene manner on Saturday, March 23, 2019, in Boynton Beach, Florida. Bob Pandolfe was the son of Mary (LaCava) Pandolfe, who had passed away, and the late Ralph Pandolfe, Sr. He was born on May 22, 1946. He spent his childhood in Wethersfield and received his high school diploma from Wethersfield High.

After graduating from Springfield College, Bob got a job as the Athletic Director at St. James School in Manchester. Bob had attended Springfield College for his further education. subsequently on, he became a member of the extended family business, which was called Pandolfe’s New and Used Auto Parts and was initially located in Hartford and subsequently moved to Berlin.

Over the course of many years, Bob was an ardent supporter of the young people of Wethersfield. He was given a number of accolades for his service to the community, one of which came from Governor Rell and was given to him in recognition of his volunteer work. He used his athletic prowess to motivate young people to pursue their goals on and off the field by utilizing perseverance, discipline, humor, self-confidence, and relationships, all of which he modeled for them using his own athletic abilities.

In addition to his devoted mother Mary, he is survived by his sons Michael and Robert, his ex-wife Linda (Bordieri) Pandolfe, his siblings Francesca Johnston (Robert), Ralph Pandolfe and his soulmate, Robin Sky, Patricia Pandolfe, and Gloria Allen, and his former wife Linda (Bordieri) Pandolfe. Anthony, his cherished son, as well as his niece Julie Allen Lanati and a large number of cousins from the LaCava and Pandolfe families all passed away before him. His life was enriched by a great number of friendships that lasted a lifetime. On Friday, April 5, at 3:30 p.m., a celebration of Bob’s life will take place at Sacred Heart Church, located at 56 Hartford Avenue in Wethersfield. The burial will be carried out in secret.
